1. For nearly a year the GP insisted that he could remember the visit clearly and precisely and yet when we confronted him through the complaints procedure he admitted the following in front of witnesses - "Mr Edwards might have given me a list with all Michaela's symptoms, I don't recall" and "Mr Edwards may have mentioned Michaela's symptoms, I don't recall" This meeting was recorded.

  2. One Consultant Paediatric Intensivist at Great Ormond Street Hospital said to us "you must not blame yourselves, your doctor is definitely responsible for your daughters death" and "I will help you any way I can please don't hesitate to contact me" The response when I did contact this consultant was "I am sorry Mr Edwards I cannot help any more" This meeting was recorded.

  3. Another consultant that I spoke to said "I have no idea why, but for some unknown reason your doctor could not have seen Michaela that Saturday morning, he didn't hear what you told him or read what you gave him" This conversation was recorded.

  4. Two consultant admitted that if our doctor had sent Michaela to hospital on that Saturday morning she would probably be alive today. This conversation was recorded.

  5. A local GP admitted he would love to help but he dare not get involved.

  6. Another GP disqualified himself from the complaints procedure to become our GP. The Ombudsman's investigators were not interested in what he had to say.
